Have been running HA with MQTT (and a lot of other integrations) for a long time and have not had any issues the community could not resolve (so thankyou).
Background: Installed a Tasmota Shelly1 into the controller part of a Robotic Pool cleaner, so that it can toggle a connection (dry contact) to turn on the device. It was running perfectly for over a year before I loaned the pool robot out to a neighbour. When i received the unit back, the device and all entites connected to HA without issue with one exception. I am not able to trigger the device from HA (the button on the HA page toggles, but the indicator on the MQTT web interface does not change), howerver when i toggle the device from the MQTT web interface, both the HA interface and the MQTT web interface show the toggle… so only one way traffic on activating the device.
Anyone else experienced this issue? Short of wiping the device, I am stumped…
