ONVIS sensor homekit not visable

Hello

I have a new ONVIS sensor. It is a cheap sensor (temperature, humidity, movement) that supports homekit.

I’m able to add it to the home app on my iPhone, but unable to see/add it in homeasisstant. Any suggestions?
On the side of the sensor I have a mac address, serial number.

Thanks!

Hi Sanderr,
it seems that HomeKit BLE devices are not yet supported.
I’m interested in using that sensor with HomeAssistant as well.

Any news yet?

Has anyone tried to see if this shows up using a smartphone BLE scanner app? I think the big question on something like this will be if the broadcasts are open/public or if encrypted by a key. I am guessing it is encrypted. Further, Apple’s BLE setup often involves random MAC addresses that are constantly changing and that would be an additional challenge.

Any news with this, I got the same sensor and the same problem

Hi, I’ve the ONVIS SMS1 and I build a ESPhome bluetooth proxy which find the SMS1 as Temp/Hum Sensor.
On connecting I need a 32 digit hexacode. Now trying to find the code and we will maybe see it in HA.
I will answer if I get it.
