Open a Dashboard on Amazon Alexa Echo Show

I have created a skill downloadable from the store,
SKILL EN: Amazon.com: Home Assistant Dashboard : Alexa Skills
SKILL IT: Amazon.it: Home Assistant Dashboard : Alexa Skills
It allows you to open the HomeAssistant Dashboard with the voice command “Alexa, open home automation.”
Not only that, I have also created a Widget, which allows you to directly open the dashboard from the home screen of EchoShow devices.

After installing the “Home Assistant Dashboard” skill, a list called “IPHomeAssistant” will be created in your lists (where the shopping list is also located). I have now reached version 3.0 (the first two were only released in Italy).
Install Kiosk Mode from HACS
Settings:

  1. IP:
  2. HEADER:
  3. SIDEBAR:
  4. PROTOCOL:

1- You need to enter your IP, which can also be a domain, always accompanied by the port (yours obviously), by default 8123. For example: “IP:192.168.1.100:8123” or “IP:mydomain.org:443”.
2- By default, you will find ‘False’, but you can change it to ‘True’. This setting allows you to hide the HomeAssistant top bar, for example, “HEADER:True”.
3- By default, you will find ‘False’, but you can change it to ‘True’. This setting allows you to hide the HomeAssistant sidebar, for example, “SIDEBAR:True”.
4- Here you should enter the protocol, which is ‘http’ by default. You can change it to ‘https’, for example, “PROTOCOL:https”.

Any changes you make to the settings (in the IPHomeAssistant list) take effect immediately when you launch the voice command. However, to be “seen” by the widget, you must always first call the skill at least once after the change, saying “Alexa, open home automation”.
