Hello @ all !
Well, actually, I don’t know, if this is the right category, but I will try to describe, what my request is about and it can be moved by admins anytime.
I have setup Alarmo in Home Assistant and I have to say, it is really working damn good without any obstacles. It is even showing the trigger device, once an alarm was triggered - perfect ! - I have connected 6 Google Nest speakers within the house to play an alarm sound at full loudness and all the bulbs and led stripes inside and outside the house are flashing red, once the alarm is triggered.
I also have a Blue Iris Server setup, which is running 12 cameras inside and outside of the house. I have integrated it with the NVR Plugin to Home Assistant as well, but just setting up the ui3 website as iframes works way more fluid…
Anyway, what I am looking for right now is a possibility/automation to show the camera overview automatically on mobile phones (android AND ios) in case an alarm is triggered to get a quick overview if the alarm is a false alarm due to a sensor hick up or if the alarm is a real one. Alternativ to show camera overview on a Windows PC, like opening a browser window automatically, as I have PCs connected to some of the Smart TVs in the house, which are running 24/7. Like this, I could automate, that the TV turns on and switches HDMI to the PC if there was an alarm triggered. Just I have no clou about, how to open a browser window from an automation in home assistant on windows machine, linking to a specified URL…
EDIT: Meanwhile, I was able to setup turning on the TV on alarm trigger and make the windows computer show a webview window with the camera overview. Working like charm with the HASS Agent software for Windows… But still looking for something similar to be presented on phone or tablet as well…
Any idea would be appreciated !
Thanks in advance and merry christmas to everybody here !
Cheers
Marco
