I’m wanting to keep my Chromebook as an always-on dashboard running the Home Assistant app. I still want to be able to use it for other tasks, but to automatically return the display the HA app when idle, as a screensaver of sorts. However, Chrome doesn’t have a native ability to open an arbitrary app as a screensaver.
Is this possible and/or does anyone else use their Chromebook like this? I’m thinking something like Tasker might do the trick.
That’s strange; this is a bit off topic, but the app works perfectly on mine. It may be the case that there are certain processors the app won’t work on. You might want to file a bug report/support request.
Does anyone have the fullykiosk browser running on a chromebook
and its weird to me that android apps work on a Chromebook as those are X86 and all android phones are ARM
