Open in Code Editor option in three dot drop down for cards/sections

Wondering if it is possible to look at adding the option for ‘Open in Code Editor’ in the three dot drop down menu when editing dashboard sections/cards.

Currently you can click ‘EDIT’ to open in the visual editor, but if you are having issues with say a custom card loosing it’s card_mod css when opening in visual editor, you can click the three dots and select ‘open in code editor’ to go straight to the YAML for that section/card. I know this is already an option in the main edit menu at the top right of the window, but for large dashboards, this can be time consuming, searching through lines of code to find the right section.

I think this would be a super handy option for those wanting to code dashboards without having to open the entire dashboard YAML to do so.

I noticed others have request for an option to default to code editor, but this method would give you the use of both methods (visual or code) as needed.

2024 was the year of ‘voice’, perhaps 2025 could be the year of dashboards and css/styling?

Thank you, there are so many different forums for HA, if you don’t spend a lot of time in them, it’s not easy to find the right one. I will post there. Cheers.
