OpenEPaperLink drawcustom stopped working?

Hi all! I’ve been using the OpenEPaperLink integration for a while now, with a ESP32 Bluetooth AP and a few Gicisky displays. I have them updating via a script that identifies them via:

target:
entity_id: open_epaper_link.(mac address)
action: open_epaper_link.drawcustom

Recently it’s stopped working, but I can still see the displays in the Open EPaper Link AP, and I can also still see them in the HA integration - but when I run the script, I get an error:

Failed to perform the action script/new_script. id was not found yet, please wait for the display to check in at least once

Any idea what’s going on? The MAC address hasn’t changed and the displays are checking in fine?

That’s exactly the error I’m getting! It’s very frustrating and I haven’t found any other mention of this as an issue.
