I have added the HA integration via HACS, added the AP, and it shows up as a device with 12 entities, but there are no tags. All of the entities are sensors about the AP itself. Do I need to do something special for the tags to show up? When I first added the integration I didn’t have any tags associated with the AP, but then I added one. It didn’t show up in HA. I’ve tried restarting HA, tried removing the integration, but the tag isn’t showing up.
It seems you need to flash them with the firmware for OpenEPaperLink.
They came already pre-flashed along with the AP. The tag is connected to the OpenEPaperLink AP/Gateway and content is being sent to it successfully via the AP web interface.
Ah, just figured this out.
The hostname I used I didn’t have fully qualified. I think it was trying to add .local to it, which was unresolvable. Weird that the AP was discovered though. I removed and re-added it with .localdomain and it picked up the other devices!
