Opening a window on a curtain switch on percentage

I have a chain motor to open a window, motor with 3 wires, neutral, open and close. Added a Loratap Curtain Switch which shows up in HA as a TuYa TS130F, calibration done, set to 15 seconds running time. So far so good, no I want to ste the window to half way open so shift the bar to 50%, windows opens all the way…
Am I doing something wrong or is ther still something else I need to set/change to get this percentage to work properly?

It’s the type of switch, one supports the percentage setting the other just does not.
Loratap second generation, not the mechanical but the tcouh buttons, does work with the percentage setting.
