Opentherm gateway component, with overrides

I have two main requirements to solve:

  • I want to monitor what my QAA73 thermostat & Geminox THRi-DC boiler are up to
  • I want to be able to override some settings at occasion. For example, I want to control the hot water circulating pump on my own.

Hence I tried to create an Opentherm gateway as an ESPHome external component. Define your own sensors capturing the values passed in the opentherm messages. Define override switches for the individual messages.

First version, limitations still, but already quite useful. Check it out here on Github:
