It will depend on the speed of the media you are creating the snapshot on… that is the bottleneck, not the processor. (Also the media HA is installed on if different)

Valid point, I use 1tb ssd (sata), my snapshot are around 1,5gb in size and and take around 15min to create. I think this is too slow.
I’d say that is typical for that size. Mine is ~20mins on a Celeron NUC with an SSD and it’s only ~500MB in size - never thought to complain about it… This is also why people get into trouble restoring a snapshot as they get too impatient, assume it’s locked up and restart and then complain half the snapshot is missing etc…
I thoroughly recommend a scheduled snapshot at a time where you are not watching it.
