Optimise Energy Dashboard for Natural Gas & Solar Thermic Energy

The Energy Dashboard does not work very well with Natural Gas and Solar Thermic Systems. Changes needed:

  1. Natural Gas: Is usually measured in m3 her in Europe. But cost is calculated in kW/h. Conversion can only bei an estimate because it is based on a gas heating value that ist published after the month has ended. So there would need to be a fixed estimate value and a manual input for monthly values. This would lead to a better price calcuation and consumption overview.

  2. Solar Thermal Systems: It would be nice to differenciate these systems for hot water from Solar Power Systems for electricity.

For gas price :
Either you use a fixed cost per kWh ( that is a price per m3 per kWh/m3). This is what I use and I find it enough as this factor does not change a lot and this is for me far enough for home assistant price tendance.
Or you can use sensor based price. I think that it already answers to your request. Isn’t it ?
