Traces are available for automations and for scripts.
For automations I can change the number of stored traces with
trace:
stored_traces: 1
This does not seem to be available for scripts.
Could you add this option to scripts as well?
No idea what my problem was before but this already works for scripts as well.

Your problem is that I don’t think it is documented anywhere that it works in scripts!
I didn’t even know it was a configurable thing until I found this post in my search for something related. I’ve just wasted a load of time wondering why my trace for a script wasn’t available. I had assumed that all traces were kept for as long as the purge_keep_days in Recorder!
I don’t remember this ever being mentioned when traces came along but I could be wrong.
Anyone else having trouble with increasing the stored traces with scripts?
I get the traces stored but the Trace Timeline stays empty and shows only “Not all shown logbook entries might be related to this script.”
