I’ve got one or two Alexa skills that kick off an event that takes a bit of time to complete. Because of this, I often get the “the requested skill took too long to respond” error from Alexa. I’d like an option to configure the intent so that it doesn’t wait for completion before returning a “success” to the skill. For some skills, I have other ways of gauging their success and the consistent error from Alexa is a distraction.
