OSX + Z-Stick Gen5 configuration problems

I’m getting “Invalid Config” for zwave with the following configuration:

zwave:
  usb_path: /dev/cu.usb.modem1411

AFAIK the syntax is correct (2-space indent) and that is definitely the right path to the device (from the home directory).

does the user running HA have R/W access to the zwave stick?

Yes. The stick’s info:
crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel 20, 1 Nov 6 20:39 /dev/cu.usbmodem1411

Heh well I see one problem, your config says /dev/cu.usb.modem1411 but your ls command says /dev/cu.usbmodem1411
