I’m thinking about pulling trigger on the Fibaro Eye for outdoor PIR to trigger alerts and will also purchase the Vera Edge as I don’t have any zwave hub beside Philips Hue and Xiaomi gateway.
Will the combo work well with HA and serve my purpose? Any other recommendations (battery powered option only please).

Well, they said PET immune and it is not the same with flies immune lol
I turned it off after few weeks as it created false alarms more than the sensor from my Blink XT camera. To be fair, Blink XT has same flies issue too but it seems to be less false alarms, especially when days with sun light changes a lot.
