Outdoor motion detector recommendation

Can any one recommend outdoor motion detectors, that preferably covers up to 180 degrees. and about 30 - 50 feet. I need it to detect smaller objects, such as rabbits, cats, raccoons and dogs.

I would appreciate your recommendations.

Maybe a camera with Frigate object detection could be an option too.

Not for 30’ at night. Possible for daytime but a rabbit at 30’ will be unreliable as well with full daylight I think and squirrel impossible

What is purpose?

I have been trying to use the camera’s object detection, without any luck for the past month. Cameras work perfect on “person” object detection, but I am having a real hard time to configure it for bird, cat and dog objects.

I have revised, and fine tuned with different parameters in frigate.yaml, with out any luck, so I have just started trying to use outdoor motion sensors. I have tried the Yolink, outdoor sensor, but the angle is very narrow, and distance is less than 20 feet.

I am trying to deter the Rabbits, Raccoons and Skunks, destroying the yard, by turning on my sprinkler system when they are detected.

That’s a cool idea. But, to answer your question. No. More cameras or more presence sensors is probably your only solution.

This video is what comes to mind with this project:

You could try this new Zooz z-wave outdoor PIR sensor which has programmable sensitivity up to 30ft and runs on batteries or 12-24v ac/dc. I have their indoor PIR website and it works great.
