I’m looking for outdoor motion sensors that can be hooked up to HASS.
What are my alternatives, unfortunately there don’t seam to be any Z-Wave sensors (the Aeon Labs won’t do PIR outdoors according to it’s manual).
I’m using the Aeon Labs MultiSensor 6 - I have 3 of them outside and they work great.
What about rain how do they handle it?
I try and keep mine as sheltered as possible …
I have the same outside, works a treat. I have motion sensitivity set to 3 as on 5 it was detecting wind 
I just have them in a covered area, so rain doesn’t get to them
