I would like to offer for discussion a topic.
How much might cost Outdoor Zigbee sensor with temperature, humidity and air pressure you think?

Are you looking at selling these? I think you would want to keep the price below $10. What is that battery life on that with readings every hour?
On one and half month testing outside with average temperature -10, battery still 100%.
It beleive sensor readings more then once a hour as you may notice in history of you temp sensor (second pics).
Would be better in a white box to minimise the effect of the sun. I have a DS18B20 sensor in a 3D-printed pseudo-Stevenson shield, and even that sees peaks of up to 3°C when the sun hits it.
I have compensated by installing a second sensor that is never in the sun at the same time as the first (other side of the building) and I have a template sensor to take the minimum temperature from both.
You completely right, and still present recommendations of mounting temp. sensors. Just one of them, is do not mount sensor on direct sun. A white case may not be a problem as demand is.
