Outon Smart LED Floor Lamp

Hi All,

Does anybody have any experience of Outon products? Specifically the floor lamp?

I’m looking at buying one, but I can’t find any mention of it anywhere on the forum or Google relating to integrating it into Home Assistant

This is an old, old post. However, I want to point out I see on one of their lamps they ARE in the Tuya network, i.e. you can just use Tuya. I’ll know more in a few days – I just bought a couple $15 LED strips from them (so cheap! why not…).

Did you figure this out, yourself, @jakeycrx ?

I made my own light fitting in the end using 8 WiZ GU10’s

Heads up: Outon does use Tuya backend. I have a couple LEDs working via Tuya integration (Cloud), but not they are not recognized via LocalTuya, unfortunately (yet?).

I couldn’t get it to work directly with Home Assistant either, but I ended up plugging it into a Zigbee smart outlet just to automate on/off. Not ideal for colors or dimming, but worked for basic control. I mainly added it for vibes in my lighting furniture setup, so even limited control was better than nothing. Still hoping someone figures out better integration though.
