Output NR debug information to Lovelace Card?

Is there a way to output the debug information from an existing NR automation to a HA card?
Without going through NR, I want to be able to see the result of the automation via a template / markup card so that it can be viewed on the mobile interface via HA

Create a sensor with the entity node and store the output in some attribute field of this sensor. Then with markdown card you can expose that data in Lovelace

The file integration lets you send notifications to file. This also creates a sensor for that file.
