On one of my android devices the default dashboard is empty. If i stop the app, delete cache and data and relogin within the app it shows the overview correctly. A few minutes later when opening the app again the overview is empty and stays this way no matter what i do.
It is a pixel 7 pro with the newest os patches. Companion app is the newest version as well. I tried app from playstore and fdroid. same result.
sensor data works though, device is recognized by ha and battery level for example is correctly tracked.
check that android system webview is up to date, also check all custom cards are up to date and if that doesnt work disable custom cards one at a time until it loads properly to find the culprit
i have three devices
pixel 6 - works - android system webview 129.0.6669.100
pixel 7 pro - does not work - vanadium system webview 130.0.6723.58.0
pixel 9 xl pro - works - vanadium system webview 130.0.6723.58.0
if i make changes to the overview on another device, the pixel 7 recognizes it and i can press the refresh on the bottom of the overview page. then the overview gets loaded correctly. next time i open the app its empty again.
what custom cards do you have?
only mushroom cards
disable/remove them and see if the issue goes away
well those cards work on any other device so please explain to me why they should only make problems on one of my devices?
if i sell the pixel7 the problems are away as well but that is not a solution.
custom cards can cause problems on other devices, part of teh troubleshooting process is to remove them because tehy may need to be updated to work properly.
