As advised in the github thread there is apparently an undocumented feature, that auto fills empty dashboard with w/e would be in Overview. I tested it on Android and it works.
Add new dashboard, name it and do not do anything else with it.
Then visit it via sidebar and it will show what would be in Overview tab.
