Owntracks Auto update not working

Hey Everyone, has anyone noticed a issue with Home Assistant 0.68 & 0.68.1 that Owntracks does not auto update your location but if you manually push your location it updates. I’m having this issue on more then one phone that is running owntracks

I had similar issues a while back, ended up giving up on Owntracks after a long time using it and switching over to using Zanzito (on Android). Far superior IMO.

Does that app work on ios both devices i use are apple

I believe it is Android only. You could use the IOS Home Assistant app though for Apple devices available here

I’ve tried using that but i found it unreliable and owntracks was better.

Are you using MQTT or HTTP for Owntracks?

MQTT over SSL

Might be worth trying HTTP to see if that helps at all.

Maybe a little better but still having issues, I think my HASS is dieing some of my automations are firing off on there own and other just do not respond now
