In the OZW beta , we currently have support for scenes … however the popular GE Switches (Jasco mfg) do not trigger scenes, but instead send a “node event” to the controller on a double click. Exposing this would allow triggering automations from those double taps. My personal favorite is to have a double click up / down on any switch to trigger all the lights on / off in a room.
Note - this functionality was supported in the legacy zwave support.
Node events are not supported by ozwdaemon (OpenZWave Beta), so at this time there is nothing HA can even do. It has been stated that node events will eventually be removed.
See this github issue for workarounds. It is still an open issue though.
