Pairing Coolcam NEO powerplug & Zwave.me WallC-S association

Hi,

I have Coolcam NEO powerplug that is already associated to my zwave controller and controllable from within HA. Now I have added a Zwave.me Wall switch that I want to use to directly control the powerplug. I’m trying to associate like this:

This shows in the logs:

2018-10-28 20:25:48.094 Info, Node036, Association::Set - Adding node 29 to group 3 of node 36

But when pushing the wall controller button, nothing happens.

I also tried directly from the wall controller:

  • Push 4 buttons at the same time for 5 sec
  • Push button 4
  • Push button 3
  • Push powerplug button 3 times

But this isn’t working either.

Any idea’s to get this working?

Thanks!

What have you configured for parameter 11 and 12? They are configured as “central scene to gateway” as default and must be set to “switch on/off only” to work with a switch. I also have to wake up the wallc before it stores the new configuration (all 4 buttons to get into management mode and then press the top right button (2?)).

Hi,

I finally found some time to try again :-).

What is the exact procedure to build an association? As I understand you first add the button to the zwave network (as you do with every other device), and then I use HA to build an association between 2 devices. Is that the correct flow?

I have changed parameter 11/12 to on/off now. However, when trying to add the association on the wall controller node, by adding it to group B, nothing happens. It seems that the association is not created. Either way, nothing happens when pushing the wall controller.

Thanks
