Does anyone know how to pair the Philips Hue Living White plug with Skyconnect?
There is no pairing button on the plug
What’s that on the top? Have you tried holding it down for about 10 seconds?
That is not a button. Looks like a transparant part for a sensor that, as far as I know, is not used
People over at SmartThings aren’t having much luck either.
This seems to be a very old device. You might try switching it on and off repeatedly - seven is often the magic number…
Thank you for your reaction. I tried your tip on switching on/off several times, but it doesn’t show up.
Strange thing is I can reset it to factory default with the Living Colors remote, just like you can reset the bulbs

Skyconnect does’t detect it. I think it is a Zigbee device as it connects to the Philips Hue bridge.
I am not sure if it the correct Zigbee version though. I also don’t know how to find out if that is the culprit or not.
Maybe it needs a custom quirk? You could try requesting one on the github page:

It only mentions IEEE 802.15.4 but not zigbee in particular

I assume it’s Zigbee because it connects to the (Zigbee) Hue bridge, but that’s of course not a 100% certainty
Also got one and they were great back in the days with hue bridges as they have a dim function, very uncommon for wallplugs.
AFAIK, they are using something close to
zigbee but with a proprietary key, that hasn’t been reversed.
So, at least for
me that’s it with the thing…
Maybe it could be added to zigbee, but I think there are not that many sold. I really have to search hard to find one on internet. So I think there are not many people facing this problem
