Woke up this morning, version 1.0.40 found in HACS, updated, restarted - all is fine
Thank you all devs.
It is not working for all (myself included). Lets hope they can find something from the logs and fix it quickly.
Downloaded the fork, and that is working at the moment.
I have done the update, now I get the following error.

The update is working fine for me, great work team
Same error here. Using 1.0.45 with HA 2024.6.4
Did all that: Debugging is on, configured tel-number on the Panasonic account. Reset the 2FA, forced to config new entry … still no luck.
Was working fine for 3 years before that.
Can somebody help?
Thanks
Got it working - did NOT setup/reset the 2FA in the app correctly (very confusing on their side, I think) - now everything is working fine with 1.0.47
1000 Thanks for maintaining this integration!!
Hi
Regarding 1.0.54:
I have been testing 8/15 mode. The scale changes to 8-15 degrees. All fine.
But I can’t get back to Heat mode and have a scale above 16 degrees. When I change Preset modes to None then it jumps to 8/15. From the app (see attachment), the 8/15 is more like a hvac_mode
Conclusion: 8/15 seems to work but I can’t get away from this mode.
HA update to 2024.7.x seems to break the integration. Reverted back to 2024.6.4 - working again.
Anyone with a working integration on 2024.7.x here ?
No problems on
This is a great integration, thanks very much.
Does anyone know how the recorded energy used works for multi-split systems though? I assume it records the total energy used across all indoor units connected to the same outdoor unit but how does it “divide” up the recorded usage across the indoor units? It sometimes seems to allocate energy used to indoor units that haven’t been on at all?
Did a complete re-install (delete and reboot before that) … now it’s working with
also.
Hi. Somtime ago some user recommended me the integration Versatile Thermostat. With that, you can set some variables and margins. And most important, you can set whatever temperature sensor you’ve got.
For example: (without versatile thermostat)
Panasonic temp set: 24ºC
P sensor when running: 24
Panasonic status: inactive
Sensor aqara:: 26,8
(With versatile thermostat):
Versatile temp set: 25
Aqara sensor: 26,4
Panasonic temp set: 23,5
Panasonic temp sensor: 24
Status : COOLING. (That’s the main difference).
It creates a margin between the sensor you want to be the one to rule the AC and automatically adjust this margin to try to reach your set temp in Panasonic Vs aqara (in my case) sensor.
Versatile Thermostat card:
Panasonic card ruled by Variable thermostat and aquara sensor
Now it’s off but these are the last numbers, so you can see the difference between my set temperature (25) and the set temperature in Panasonic by versatile thermostat.
If someone could share their air conditioning card (simple thermostat) including settings, that would be great.
especially how they integrated the horizontal and vertical swing modes.
I’ve been trying to configure the simple thermostat card for days, but I can’t get it to work.
How do the power readings work? Is power providing directly by the Panasonic units, or are the units providing some accumulated kWh value which then get differenced into power? Is it possible to increase the sampling frequency of the power reading?
The power readings from Panasonic are calculated, not measured. But they are pretty good, when compared to a cheap Zigbee clamp power meter. The power meter samples at a much higher frequency, but when compared to Homa Assistant Statistics the values are very close. Panasonic will not show the highest spikes, as the are rounded when measurements are done over several minutes. But for measuring how much energy is used over time to either cool or heat it should be good enough.
Sorry, another question. Do the units report their own status, i.e. whether in heating mode or off etc? I wanted a time series history of set temperature, but to do that I need to filter, and therefore know, whether the unit is actually on. Is that possible?
