Panasonic H&C Control (Reverse Cycle Aircon) integration

Hi All,

I’ve made an integration for Panasonic BLE enabled wired aircon controllers. Many of the same devices also support wifi and the “Comfort Cloud” service (which has its own custom integration), but this is a truly local alternative that does not require any account setup, registration etc.

I have only tested it with my CZ-RTC6BLW controller so far. Testers are welcome and I will try an add support for features and controllers as required.

You mention that it may have issues if you run bluetooth-proxies, I assume you are talking about the current BT adapter being used for proxy whilst adding this with the same adapter?

I believe some people use only esphome-based bt proxies and don’t even have a Bluetooth adaptor connected to their ha instance at all, it will not work in that scenario. Provided you do have an actual bt interface attached to ha, and it is in range of the Panasonic controller, you should be fine. I have one bt adapter connected to ha, and about 4-5 bt proxies around the house and everything gets along just fine.
