When cities in Sweden started to implement peak hourly energy charges last year I began to learn python to try and lower the impact on our home.
The integration has since grown into an aggregator of sorts, that takes various ev charger types, matches against a local tariffe-model (and if desired also the current hourly energyprices) to charge the car at the lowest rate possible.
The integration is available in Sweden and Belgium, more cities can be added (quite) easily, and also more charger-brands.
I’m really proud of this integration and thus felt that it would be a proper ”Share your projects”-moment.
Looking forward to ideas, collaborations and installations.
Example of how peaqev behaves. It fills up to the currently registered peak (1,76kwh) or lower in hours that are on the more expensive side. Over a certain hourly price threshold the charger is paused completely to avoid excessive kw-prices
