I'm not new to Home Assistant but idk what the hell is going on. For the past couple of months, mine and my girlfriend's location haven't been updating in home assistant, it always says we're home. I've had automations working based off of whether or not we were home for a couple years at least. This is something that's changed recently. Some quick things to weed out more obvious issues:
- Both me and my girlfriend have our location preferences set to "always" and precise location enabled in settings. (I've checked like 100 times)
- The zone for Home is not too big.
- Our phones (as device trackers) are correctly assigned in the people tab, and there are no other device trackers for either of us.
- My location reporting works for other Home Assistant instances I have on my companion app. Like my sister's Home Assistant server.
Some things I've tried:
- Removing my Home Assistant server from my phone, deleting the companion app integration for that phone, then re-adding my server.
- Reseting App entities database
- Reseting App (but it didn't really remove servers and data like it said it would, even though it showed as successful)
I'm looking for any and all potential troubleshooting tips y'all recommend.
