I am creating an interactive Periodic Table of the elements.
Looking for the best card to create the interface, ideally it would be 118 boxes displayed like this in its own dashboard.
I am doing automations in the background, mainly controlling addressable LED lights on a real physical periodic table. (118 physical boxes built into a wall).
Standard mode displays each physical boxes in the colours as in the above picture.
E.g. A single click\press (touch screen) of one element (box) turns off all the lights and turns on only the light for the corresponding physical box.
A long press brings up information about the element, any suggestions are welcome there too.
Then on a separate tab I will have a fixed set of buttons/switches like “Show me the radioactive elements” or “Show me the noble gasses” which the illuminate the corresponding physical boxes as shown in my prototype below.
Any suggestions or assistance on the interface card for a Home-assistant dashboard are very welcome.
