I tried to follow the guide on how to have nightly automatic backups of the configuration pushed to a Github repository.
However, because of a plugin bug, I can’t restart Home Assistant, I have to reboot the host machine. And when I reboot the host machine, the Git settings and SSH key are reset. I want to have a persistent setup for Git and pushing to Github over SSH. Also the crontab resets on every reboot.
Has anyone found a solution for this?
