Persistent notifications panel won't stay open as of 2026.4.3

Yesterday I upgraded from 2026.2.3 to 2026.4.3 and have encountered this odd issue. I’d include a gif but I’m struggling to get it small enough.

I click on “Notifications” in the sidebar (which has a badge of “1”), and the panel pops open from the side for one moment, saying “no notifications” then promptly closes itself again. Less than a second open.

Anyone else encountering this? Solutions?

Alway the first question with browser (or app) issues is “have you cleared the cache?”
