Persisting the configuration made with nmtui

Hello!

I am running HomeAssistant (HassOS) on Raspberry Pi 3.

I was trying to activate the WiFi interface in addition to my Ethernet connection…long story short, I have managed finally to do it by using nmtui. Now it seems to be persistent and after reboot everything stays as expected. But I feel silly - I have absolutely no idea where all these settings are stored! Definitely not in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf, which is almost empty.

So, first, maybe someone can tell me where are they? Clearly nmtui stores them somewhere and loads then when I run it again.

I would like to be able to be able to create or generate the network settings file that I could reapply again if I am to reinstall HomeAssistant. So far I only was able to do “nmcli con show …” to dump all fields.

Thanks!

Hi Nikolai_Grigoriev,

I’m running centOS and the nmtui configuration files can be found in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/. There should be a file there for each connection.
