I’ve been a user of duckdns and the set-up worked perfectly. Due to security restrictions at work duckdns is restricted so I’ve registered my own domain name. I’ve removed SSH from my config. But I can’t access HA remotely using my domain which points to my public address. I’ve tried http and https, with and without port 8123

The local IP address is ok. I’m struggling to understand what I need to do to set it up. Your help would be appreciated.

I use letsdnsocloud with my own domain. There is a topic on the forum.

Router fowarding to HA in internal lan (port forwarding)

OR

Some router forwarded to proxy like NGINX that forward to HA

Either way, likely you may have disabled whatever method you had forwarding to HA…maybe it point to port 80 instead of 8123
