I have been tinkering for some time with pet presence detection using the Cube Bluetooth tag. I’m using MQTT with room assistant to implement it. It works to an extent, but has some disconnection issues within MQTT, so I have resorted to restarting room assistant every hour in a cron job to get it somewhat working. Has anyone else had issues with Bluetooth BLE, or have something that they’re using that could fit on a pug? The best I was able to find is that it might be related to the bluetooth driver crashing. I know it’s a weird question, but would love your thoughts!
