I am going through my first day detecting new devices and setting them up, and two devices with 2 sensors each appeared. Each has motion and occupancy within them.
H5127 by Govee
I do not have any of these on my network (as far as I know), only Govee outlets and led bulbs.
Should I be concerned? Is this just a case of an incorrect identification of another device?
I found a thread referring to this but it is old and dates back to 2021.
Thanks!
Which integration is adding these devices to HA?
Govee Bluetooth.

Likely a neighbor, unless you are somewhere remote enough where that’s not possible.

Inside my house and through a block wall? I did not think BT was that robust.
Depends how far away they are and also, just because it showed up doesn’t mean it would have a reliable/useable connection.
I have had probably a dozen BT devices show up from neighbors.

Copy that. So this leads me to ask… if I just delete those two instances, will they continue to pop up? And if they do, can I block/ignore them?
ADDED: It would be cool if I could get LQI or RSSI on those detections to see if they ARE faint and distant.
Yep, when anything gets discovered it has an ‘ignore’ button.
