Philips Hue, Google Wifi Mesh & HA

My set up:

hue:
  bridges:
    - host: 192.168.xx.xx

Have a Hue connected to a Google Wifi mesh router.

Nothing shows up in HA. The IP is correct. If I stick it in my browser, it pulls up Hue information.

Any ideas?

What do the log files say? Do you have discovery enabled?

Depending on your HA version you might need to go Configuration>Integrations and setup the Hue bridge there.

Ah. I found it. Wow. Such a simple thing. Why is this not in docs?!

Hi,

I have a very similar problem. My hue bridge and home mini’s are connected to google wifi. Home assistant does not discover any of them.

Is there something I need to do in router to enable discovery?
