Philips Hue Motion Sensor no LED light no battery power sensor?

I just installed a new Phillips Hue motion detector. It seems to be working okay. However, the LED light doesn’t work; and, there’s no battery sensor.

The light didn’t blink during pairing mode (even though it did pair). More importantly, the LED light doesn’t run on during motion detection. Motion detection seems to be working okay.

I already updated the firmware on it via the Hue app. Is this a damaged/broken device? I don’t have any way to tell how much battery power is left in the device. Also, I can’t tell if it’s detecting motion unless my automation is setup.

I already resetted the device and re-pairing it. Should I get it exchanged while I can?

Update: I was able to find the battery level buried within the motion sensor’s attributes; instead of having a dedicated sensor for battery life. The only outstanding issue I have is the LED light not working

The battery level always shows 100%, then the device suddenly disappears one day.
