Thanks for the help @pedolsky.
I am definitely looking in the right place.
But… I just rebuilt the server VM, re-added home assistant, re-added Hue, and still I’m only seeing individual devices & ~200 entities. None of them are my rooms though.
They are in Hue. For some reason the Integration isn’t seeing them.
Thanks for the link!
That discussion was a little lost on me, neither my zones or rooms are transferred to Home assistant anymore? Guess I have to create them all manually in light groups but then the integration to Google home will not provide me with the option to open a light group and control each spotlight
I think my solution will be to do the philips hue integration on two fifferent users on google home and drop the Home assistant HUE → to Google integration
I have the same issue. Surely there has to be a way to check the state of a Hue room or turning all lights of a room on and off without having to create groups in HA?
I suddenly have one room that will not show up in Home Assistant. All the other rooms show up. There is nothing odd, different, unusual, strange or anything else about the missing room.
I’m new to this. Sorry to answer this old thread, but I’m trying to integrate these “rooms” into HomeKit. HomeKit don’t see them as rooms but as lights.
