Philips motion sensor - update temperatur more frequent

Hey guys!
i own a couple of those sensors and want to have an automation based on the current temperature.
But i noticed that its updating only every 5 minutes.

Do your know whether there is an option to increase that frequency?

General idea:
I like have alexa playing music when showering :smiley:. Currently, I have two sensors, of which one tracks presence within the bathroom and another just for the shower. But I like to reduce it to one.
I could place it to notice presence everywhere, but than i dont know how it could distinguish between bathroom and shower.

You can’t change this and if you could this would be a huge drain on your batteries. Also humidity is better than temperature to detect if someone is showering. Does your temperature increase pretty fast after you start the shower?

I thought that there is a way pushing the sensor to check temperature each minute in case of movement.
Yes, the temperature increases pretty fast when showering since the sensor is close above the shower. i can see it in the logs.

But for humidity, i would also need another sensor, dont i?

Just bought a sensor from xiaomi for temperatur and humidity.

I meant the “history” in hass.io. It shows me a graph of temperature, lux at a certain time (5 min steps).

I’m not sure what your problem is.

Do you mean the sensors provide more frequent data than every 5 minutes but the graph is only showing the value every 5 min?

I can only see the graph with updates all 5 minutes… maybe its just the graph…mhm…
