Philips Motion Sensor

I have a few Philips motion sensors, and they are connected to HA through zigbee2mqtt. I have about 64 nodes on the zigbee network, and so far all are working.
The pairing is getting slower as I added more devices, but I was ok with it (will open a different thread for that).
I was working on using NodeRed for detecting motion of the sensor. I see the red light come on when I walk past it, but I am not getting an event in HA.
Looking at the sensor in HA, I see it never triggered a presence. All I see is Clear and Unavailable.

Anything I try to change on the sensor (like refresh) bounces back with zigbee2mqtt.

I am new to this, so I went and got a repeater from IKEA and installed them. I am ok starting over and pairing all devices again if any of this was not setup properly from the get-go. But I want to make sure I do it right.

Any hints on what I can do to get the Motion sensor to trigger when a motion is detected? basically at the same time the light on the sensor itself comes on?

This is how the map looks like:

Is the slow pairing an indication that my network is somehow configured improperly? It never used to be this slow. Most of my nodes are the Philips sensor and Leviton switches and dimmers. And is the slow pairing (some things never pair and I have to keep trying) related to the Motion status not being transmitted? Never makes it back to HA?

This is the coordinator I am using (link) if that helps.
