Having a smart wall switch that has the option to keep the downstream sockets and/or plugs powered on constantly while only sending a report of on/off or dimming state change is a rare bird in fact. As @jazzyisj says, the Inovelli wall switch says it can do this. It would be great if more vendors offered this option on their products. Very handy in old wiring with no neutral. The inovelli has an air gap as well, another feature that is missing on too many wall switches. Inovelli seem like a company that puts some good thought into their products. Too bad they only play in the z-wave space, and worse their products are backordered until the end of time due to chip shortage…
