So bought myself a few Wiz bulbs that are Matter enabled/certified. Is it worth integrating it into HA with Matter or with the Wiz integration? Which is faster and/or more reliable?
Did you find an answer to your question? Considering getting these instead of Hue because of price and wondering if Matter is a more reliable way to control them vs WiFi

I have them running for 4-5 months now over Wifi, with the Wiz integration in Home Assistant and not Matter (also Matter goes through Wifi, it does not support Thread).
I didn’t have a single issue yet.
Thanks! I ended up getting them and installed them directly using Matter over WiFi and they have been working well.
I replaced dimmable LED lights that were controlled by Caseta dimmers. I replaced the Caseta dimmers with a Z Wave Scene controller, and the only downside to this is that if HA is down for some reason we can’t control the lights 
It’s rare, but of course the few times I’m messing with the network or doing something with the HA VM is when my SO needs the lights
