electricity solar generation is now big in home assistant and i have been using this phocos any grid 5 kwh on grid solar inverter for some time but there is no integration available. it has 2 modes of visualizing data. one is bluetooth phone app and second is usb to rs-232 cable for their windows software but nothing else.
my question is, how to get the data from solar inverter into home assistant? can we use bluetooth in a raspberry pi and get data from there? use usb? if i were to check with raspberry pi, would using bluetooth be easier or usb?
i have checked on github but there doesn’t seem any much work done for phocos devices.
if for example, we could parse the data that the android app gets, that would be enough.
