How will i pause Chromecast or google home players when I receive a call or I am in a call or a specific app on my phone is used.
I have found multiple similar related topics but none seams to work.
Any ideas ?
Hi Rim, HA has to be able to detect that there is a phone call first.
You can check ‘Developer tools’ → States to see whether there is an entity that changes when talking/ringing.
I’m doing something similar in an automation with my landline (VoIP) to turn the volume down until the call has ended.
I don’t know if, and how, this can be done with a cellphone.
