Phone Missing from Entities

Not having a great deal of luck today.

We have a new phone in the house and, after connecting to the WiFi router the phone doesn’t show as either a device or entity in dev tools.

I’ve restarted HA and rebooted but still it doesn’t appear.

Am I wrong in thinking it should just appear as an entity once connected to my router?

As far as I know a new phone only shows up after installing the Home Assistant Companion app on the phone… It should then be listed under the “Mobile App” integration
