Phone renamed in Companion App, notify service not rename. How to solve?

Hi guys.
I renamed all my family smartphones in the companion App, in a common way: “Smartphone [Person Name]” (so when a phone change, I can place the same name having nothing to change).
So I have renamed the companion app generated devices, and consequently all the related entities (so now I have sensor.smartphone_[person name]_sensorname and so on).
But… All the notify mobile services are renamed except one :frowning: locked on the old name (notify.mobile_app_redmi_note_9_pro instead notify.mobile_app_smartphone_simone)

There’s a way to force the rename according to the new device name?

Did you find a fix for this? I have the same issue.

Unfortunately not :pensive:

I did. Reset the settings for the companion app. The name is chosen on initial setup of the app.

How do you “reset” the settings?

I just reinstalled the app.

For anyone looking, on Android apps you can go to app info, clear storage and clear cache. That makes it act like it’s a fresh install (of the companion app.) ← edit

Seems like only Clear cache is necessary to solve this problem, I just did it and confirm on 2 phones where I had the problem and the notify entities get updated within Home Assistant.
Just giving information if it can help anyone in the future.
