Physical shutdown and power button, HASSIO on Rpi4

Would it be possible to add a physical button to safely shutdown HASSIO, and to reboot.
I’ve had this for an older Raspberry under Raspbian, but I haven’t figured out how to do this under HASSIO. The idea is to use a GPIO to start a safe shutdown, and equally important, to allow the button to restart to Rpi.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I would like to add a power button as-well. :slight_smile:

I know this is an old post. But has anyone found a solution? My plan would be to use a supercapacitor or battery with power failure detection, which would be activated using the gpio on the raspberry to safely turn off the rpi completely. Well thank you.
